About the client
The founders of Paace are on a mission to create a new marketing channel that gets the world moving. Their innovative model helps brands find customers in a way that lowers costs, removes risk and lets them be part of a really positive story that has users’ wellbeing at its heart.
Previous Designs
The client shared initial designs for their concept, which required additional UX/UI refinement to meet their app's desired level. Collaboratively, we iteratively improved the designs to align with the client's vision and industry standards.
UX Audit
Starting with the existing designs, I conducted a focused UX audit to pinpoint areas for refinement and enhancements. This analysis guided improvements and additions to elevate the overall app experience, ensuring top-notch usability and design standards.
Feature Expansion and User-Centric Exploration
We engaged in discussions to explore new features for the app, carefully narrowing down the selections. Following this, I systematically broke down each chosen feature to delve into the corresponding user needs. This approach ensured a thorough understanding of user expectations and informed the subsequent design process for each integrated feature.
User Flow Development: Navigating the App's Core Experiences
After finalising the feature breakdown, I started developing concise user flows for key app interactions. These roadmaps served as essential guides for ensuring intuitive and user-friendly navigation, influencing subsequent design and development decisions
Design exploration
Having concluded the UX phase, I synthesised our findings and transitioned into crafting design solutions for the app. With a finalized feature list, I delved into exploring diverse solutions for each, utilising prototypes and leveraging Figma Mirror for continuous testing. This iterative process was essential in ensuring the creation of an exceptional user experience for our users.
Design Inspirations
I curated several moodboards, each representing a potential design direction for the app. These moodboards served as a visual exploration, offering glimpses into various stylistic elements, colour schemes, and interface inspirations.

Bringing Designs to Life
I used Figma Mirror to test wireframes and high-fidelity designs on mobile devices in collaborative sessions with the client. This hands-on approach immersed us in the user experience, enabling real-time adjustments before moving into development.
Results
The redesigned Paace app is the result of a collaborative effort that focused on elevating the user experience and aligning the app with a modern aesthetic. The results speak for themselves, showcasing a successful transformation that has positively impacted user engagement and satisfaction.
